Your generous donation helps us provide therapeutic horticulture programming for Veterans in Hawaii. Through our plant care and maintenance activities, Veterans find healing, purpose, and community while reconnecting with nature while providing a valuable service to the Keʻehi Memorial Park staff.
We especially seek your support to continue our therapeutic horticulture programs and expand our impact on the very vulnerable Veteran community we serve.

What Your Gift Supports
Every program below is running today at the Keʻehi Lagoon Memorial host site, and each one has a page where you can see the work for yourself.
Nursery & gardens
Weekly plant care in the Hajime Matsuura Hot House and the shade house, propagating native Hawaiian plants and maintaining the program zones. Gifts cover plants, soil, shade cloth and tools. See the garden map.
Water quality & bio-remediation
Veteran participants sample the lagoon and ponds and log results as citizen science. Gifts cover test kits, meters and pond work days. See the field observations ledger.
Media training
The Moku Moʻolelo cohort learns to film, edit and tell their own stories, working toward Makaʻi Fest. Gifts cover gear, editing time and screening costs. See the media program.
